Outcome Based Massage

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect from my first session?
For your initial session, kindly arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to discuss your goals, address any questions, and establish expectations. Light paperwork, including health history and consent forms, will be provided. I'll inquire about your music preference, temperature preferences, and overall comfort. Regular check-ins will occur throughout the session, particularly if we are targeting a painful condition. I often describe our approach as walking the line of 'it hurts so good,' and I strive to minimize discomfort. The pace is deliberate, and I encourage the use of deep breathing techniques to enhance your experience.
Do I have to get completely undressed???
Certainly not. You are welcome to undress to your comfort level, knowing that you will be adequately covered with a sheet and blanket. My draping is snug to the body, ensuring you do not feel exposed. I will undrape only the specific areas we are working on, section by section (back, legs, arms). If you prefer extensive stretching during the session, feel free to bring active wear to maintain your modesty.
What is your cancellation policy?
For any cancellation or rescheduling, kindly provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a 100% charge of the scheduled service. Special considerations will be made for exceptional circumstances. Your understanding and advance notice are greatly appreciated, respecting the time I have set aside for your care.
What type of payments do you accept? Should I tip?
I welcome payments in cash, Zelle, HSA, and major credit cards, processed securely through Square. While tipping is never anticipated, it's always genuinely appreciated, just as much as your repeat business and the referral of friends and family.
Can I talk during my massage?
Your session can be tailored to be interactive and chatty or serene and quiet, letting your senses fully embrace the massage. I entrust you to guide the session in that regard. Nevertheless, I'll check in periodically to ensure your comfort and inquire about pressure preferences.
Do you offer deep tissue massage?
Together, we'll navigate the delicate balance of "it hurts so good". While I employ diverse pressure techniques, my goal is to provide an effective massage without inducing excessive pain. Keep in mind, addressing certain issues in your tissues may lead to momentary discomfort as we work through them. Additionally, it's important to note that deep tissue is not synonymous with heavy pressure.
